Best view in town and very reasonable hearty German food

Always nice staff! Good middle-class cuisine with a changing menu and normal prices. The view is always remarkable! Here it is worthwhile to enjoy the great view with a good glass of wine even without food!

Great view, good food and service

First waited several minutes until someone came to lead you to the table. The view was great, but the furnishings were awful and old-fashioned. But the service was nice.

The hotel or restaurant is beautifully located in the vineyards. But ... the food we got here was a disaster. Price performance is not right at all. The food in a canteen would have been much better. As an alternative, you would have eaten much, much better at Mc Donald.

Great location with a beautiful view, but locally a bit old. Unfortunately, our food was not good, the meat was tough and sometimes fried too long. Unfortunately, the spaetzle are not homemade.

The view makes up for it. The quality of the ice, on the other hand ... Chunks of frozen water in the sundae, unfortunate.

Nice staff and a great view There is home-style cooking and a changing menu, the food is okay The kitchen is open all day. Only in the rush hour you have to be prepared for long waiting times - I had to wait almost 40 minutes to order a drink and waited another 45 minutes until they were brought to me. Since I was waiting for my family to get lost in the vineyards, everything was OK The food that we ordered after lunch was delivered after 15 minutes

We could not only eat well there, but also enjoy the great view. We had good food here at reasonable prices. The toilets were clean, the service was nice and the food came out quickly. Perhaps it was also the stimulating conversation. Hardly ordered and the food came. We really enjoyed the view. I can only warmly recommend the restaurant.

In this restaurant I had the worst experience of my entire trip on the Moselle. The staff was very rude and the boss was the culmination of the whole place. We just sat down too early at the table that was not disinfected (according to the instructions of the waitress who had expressed himself mumbling) then we were verbally tortured in the truest sense of the word, especially by the owner. Who couldn't fail to hear as far as Trier. I can recommend anything but this place except if you like to go back in time ... Time has stood still there as in the 70 years. The gardener has also died for at least 20 years, and no successor has been found. A bad nightmare.

We have been visiting for over 20 years. No day of rest! Friendly staff. Good selection of dishes including ice cream and cakes. Excellent location above a bend in the Moselle. Always worth a visit!

A view to feast on, and the wine nearby too :)

Wonderful view, friendly service, food OK. Randomly drove by at noon, discovered and stopped. Was there again for dinner in the evening. A must for the view alone ...

An aging inn. You come back to the 80s ... Very friendly service, quite fast. Special requests are catered for. The kitchen is practically set up for bus travelers: the side dishes are cooked in the morning and kept warm all day. It also tastes accordingly.

Beautiful view, beautiful region! Was there for the first time but it stole my heart, we will definitely go back!

For us it was a stop due to heavy rain. Luckily this place had some great views and once the clouds rolled away we could continue the journey.

Fantastic view over the Moselle and excellent solid German food.

Pit stop for fresh strawberries and cappuccino. What an amazing view from the terrace! Gotta visit this great spot when your in the area.

Great place to have a meal with a awsome few of the town of Piesport and the Mosel Valley.

Wonderfull view great service, also vegan options that was a plus in my personal opinion.

You can probably sleep well, we only came for lunch. Great location in the middle of the vineyards, from the terrace beautiful views of the vineyards and the Moselle. Hearty cuisine at a good price / quality ratio, friendly service. Good wine list, for us there was only Spezie & Co. Here we will surely stop on our future Moseltouren even more often.
